MILLER, HELEN L.– of Burton, passed away on August 11, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Kim Metzer officiating. Interment will take place following the service in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1-7 PM Monday, August 19, 2024 at the funeral home and one hour prior to service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Door UMC.
Helen was born in Flint, MI on November 22, 1926, daughter of the late Solomon and Pearl (Warren) Wagner. She married Earl H. Miller on July 20, 1946, and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2013. They were married for 66 years.
She was a member of Open Door UMC and a previous member of Eastwood UMC. Helen enjoyed reading, flowers, watching Jeopardy and her favorite soap opera, The Young and the Restless. She loved doing puzzles, going to casinos and traveling.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Judy (Gary) Sicard; sons, Earl (Kathy) Miller and Gerald Miller; grandchildren, David, Sharon, Angela, Neil, Nathan, Adam and extended granddaughter, Maggie; eleven great-grandchildren; Four great great-granddaughters; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers, Francis and Richard Wagner; sisters, Bernice Gray and Beatrice Bates; daughter-in-law, Debra Miller.
