Minister Doremus Morresha Kennedy (Roberson), “Ray Ray” age 52 of Flint, Michigan, affectionately called “Bishop” was born on February 7, 1972, the son of Marilyn C. Kennedy (Roberson) and the late James E. Roberson. Doremus transcended from life to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
His favorite scripture was, Philippians 4:13 NASB, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.” He was a proud member of the 1990 graduating class of Flint Northern High School. Doremus was involved in numerous activities and events including planning for their Class Reunions.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foss Ave. Baptist Church, 1159 E. Foss Ave. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1pm with Pastor Johnnie Brown, Senior Pastor of Empowered Believers Church officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12pm - 6pm on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Foss Ave.
During his last days of his life he was weak and speechless but, God gave him strength to plan his own funeral. His favorite scripture was, Philippians 4:13 NASB,
“I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
Surviving are Mother, Marilyn C. Kennedy;
He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Roberson;
