GRACE, Beverly Ann (Travis) – of Davison, MI, age 81, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 PM Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7184 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423, with the family also receiving visitors beforehand from 11 AM-12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to www.jw.org or to the North Shore Animal League America, in Beverly’s memory.
Beverly earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Eastern Michigan University. She was an educator with the Clio and Montrose school systems and founded Grace Christian Academy. Beverly's faith was foremost in her life and she was a dedicated servant of Jehovah God for over 35 years. She was also a natural caregiver, working as a CNA for many years to supplement her teaching income. Beverly also spent alot of time travelling the world and was always looking for her next adventure.
Beverly is survived by 6 children, Cindy (Bill) McKenzie, Renee Blackburn, Valerie Blackburn, Gregg (Michelle) Blackburn, Michelle (Steve) Clolinger and Craig (Nicole) Grace; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Margaret (Ed) Babcock, Charlene Fox and Gary (Liz) Fox; former husband, Alan (Janet) Grace; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Goldie (Keesler) Fox and Calvin Preston Travis; husband, Charles Edward Blackburn.
