Barbara Ruth McLosky
Age 86 of Corunna passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Memorial Healthcare.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor James Bare officiating. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Chesaning. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Friday from 1 to 7pm.
Barbara was born July 7, 1930 in Saginaw, the daughter of George and Hazel (Clark) Wenzel.
She graduated from Merrill High School.
Barbara was devoted member of Salem Lutheran Church and was very involved with church activities. In her earlier years she enjoyed polkas, sewing and going to garage sales. Barbara loved to celebrate life and events with everyone she knew and never missed a party or gathering. She loved her family and friends. Barbara was quick witted, fun and loved by so many.
She worked at Mitchell Bentley and at home on the farm.
She married Clyde McLosky on October 14, 1950 in Oakley; he predeceased her on March 3, 2016.
Barbara is survived by her children Edward (Janis) McLosky, Gale (Dirk) Rennick, Curtis (Bobbi) McLosky; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings Georgianna Schultz, Ken Wenzel, Dale and Mary Ellen Wenzel, Richard and Gracie Wenzel, Dan Wenzel, Archie and Gloria Wenzel, David and Nancy Wenzel, Gerald Wenzel and Benton and Lana Wenzel; many nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Clyde, daughter Cheryl Vining, sister Lyla "Toots" Dearing, brother Bud Wenzel and her parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Memorial Healthcare, 5th Floor -Long Term Care.
