MILLER, Cynthia Jane – of Otter Lake, age 57, passed away May 12, 2017 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4941 W. Center St., Millington; Pastor Kirk Abatelli officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 12-3 & 5-8 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Cynthia was born in Flint, MI on May 26, 1959, daughter of the late Edward and Barbara (Bryant) Fischer. She went to Flushing Jr. High and Sr. High School, graduating in 1977. Cynthia attended Baker College. She married Lester Miller on March 17, 2000 in Las Vegas. Cynthia was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Lapeer F.O.E. Aerie #2427 where she worked as a bartender. She also worked at HB’s for many years, Art Van Furniture and Ed’s Superette as a meat cutter and loved it.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Lester; children, Cory Wheeler, Kristen Dunning, Matthew (Amber) Miller, Malinda (Ray) Gatica, Marc (Jessica) Miller and Meredith (Mike) Miller; grandchildren, Darien, Treshawn, Maliyah, Ray, Antonio, Isaac, Alayna and Alexah; sister, Tami Fischer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Fischer and mother-in-law, Margaret Miller.
