SPECK, Frederick B. "Red"- Age 80, of Grand Blanc, died January 7, 2017. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint.
Frederick was born April 13, 1936 in Duck Hill, Mississippi, the son of Leon and Mary (Browning) Speck. He married Georgia Hammon in Flint on February 25, 1978. He retired from GM on Coldwater Rd. after 42 years of service. He enjoyed spending time golfing with good friends and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Georgia; children, Michael, Michelle, and Marlo; step-children, Lisa Starnes, Larry Webster Jr., Lanette Langer; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; eight siblings; special dog, Mr. Wiggles.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
