DELLING, Jack Donald – of Burton, MI, age 91, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020. A Private Service will be held. Jack will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife of 48 years, Mary Ann Delling, in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in Jack’s memory.
Jack was born in Flint, MI on January 7, 1929, son of the late Charles and Margaret (White) Delling. He married Mary Ann Kozachik on May 12, 1951. She preceded him in death on August 8, 1999. Prior to marriage, Jack proudly served his country for 3 years in the United States Air Force. Jack was a devoted member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He retired from General Motors, Plant 38 as a skilled trades machinist in 1985 after 37 years of service. Jack truly enjoyed spending time with his family including cookouts near his pool, sporting events and years of camping.
Jack is survived by 4 children, Dennis Delling, Dave (Melody) Delling, Darrel Delling and Diane (Jesse) Delling; 9 grandchildren, Charlie, Jack, Amy, Crystal, Anthony, Julia, Randy, Jesse and Lindsay; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret Delling; wife, Mary Ann Delling.
