HERTZBERG, Ruby M. – Of Flint, age 85, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at MediLodge of Montrose.
A Memorial Service will be held 2pm Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris,
Reverend Carl Halquist officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be made to the Childrens Miracle Network, Hurley Foundation or Trinity Assembly of God.
Visitation 1pm Tuesday until the time of the service at the church.
Ruby was born in West Branch, MI on May 3, 1929, the daughter of the late Delbert and Lilly (Towner) Hamilton. She married William C. Hertzberg on April 16, 1949 in West Branch and he preceded her in death on July 30, 1993. She then married Lloyd McKnight on March 27, 2007. She was a very active member of Trinity Assembly of God and was involved with the 50+ Group.
Surviving are husband, Lloyd McKnight;
daughter, Debbie and husband Tom Foster;
grandchildren, Chad and wife Angela Foster, Timothy and wife Sarah Foster, Jennifer Hertzberg-Weaver and husband Brad Weaver, Jason Hertzberg;
great-grandchildren, Andrew Foster, Alexandra Foster and Greyson Weaver;
step-daughter, Judy and husband Al Hendon;
many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
