LYON, Beverly J. – of Clio, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 5, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service will be held at 12PM Monday, March 9, 2020 in Montrose Township Cemetery.
Beverly was born April 11, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Earl and Wilma (Houston) Mann. She married Kenneth Frank Lyon on September 29, 1964. He preceded her in death November 14, 2008. Beverly was a member of City Church (Formerly First Baptist). She enjoyed playing the lottery and drawing. Beverly was a strong-willed firecracker and a great inspiration to many people. Above all,
Beverly loved spending time with her family and cared for her children and grandchildren deeply. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Daughters: Theresa Lyon-Short, and Katherine Lyon (Matthew Short); Grandchildren: Keith Lyon, Brandon Short, Robert Lyon, and Cierra Short; Great granddaughter, Mia Ford; Sisters: Rosemary (Chris) Wyman, Ronald (Donna) Mann, and Raymond (Ursula) Mann. Beverly was preceded in death by sons: Kenneth Lyon II, and Fredrick Lyon; Daughters: Michelle Lyon, and Monrie Lyon; Siblings: Timothy Mann, Patrick Mann, and Jim Mann.
