NEWCOMB, Sharon Elise – Of Flint, age 79, died Monday, June 9, 2014 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Brad Lake officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Sharon was born in Flint, Michigan on February 23, 1935.
On March 21, 1953 she married Manuel D. Newcomb and they shared 59 years of marriage.
She loved her family and spending time with them.
She was a member of Westside Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving are children, Corinne and husband Cecil Boyle,
Charlene and husband Paul Benmark,
Manual Dwight Jr. and wife Dianne, Colleen OCallaghan and Marvin Butch Stearns,
Matthew S. and wife Lisa and
Mitchel D.;
11 grandchildren;
16 great-grandchildren and many other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel, on March 27, 2012.
