LEACH, Naomi “Joan” – of Burton, age 93, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Briarwood. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Meadowview Memorial Gardens at a later date. The family will receive visitors 11 AM – 1 PM prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Joan was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on April 30, 1925, daughter of the late John Chapple and Ruby Jewel. She married Gerald Leach and he preceded her in death. Joan was a line worker for GM, retiring from the Ternstedt Division.
Joan is survived by her children, Ron (Shirley) Grimes, Linda (Denny) Zemore, Mike (Sherry) Grimes and Debi (Al) Lee; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie Brown and Norma Howard; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents; brothers, Garnett Chapple and James Chapple; sister, Ruby Lee Sullivan.
