HETZER, Bonnie L. – of Clio, age 72, died Friday, February 20, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Robert McGraw officiating. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 12-8PM and at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until time of mass at 10:30 AM. A parish vigil service will be held at 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Bonnie was born April 5, 1942 in Flint to the late John and Laura (Metevier) Blaska. She lived in Clio her entire life. Bonnie was employed at her family business. She was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are: children, George Scott Hetzer of Mt. Morris, Greg (Lori) Hetzer of Clio, Brad Hetzer of Clio, Lori Stevenson of Clio, Brian Hetzer of Flint; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Diane Jacobs, Cheri Johnston, Hon Blaska, Michael Blaska, Annie Doyle and Mark Doyle; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was also preceded in death by: husband George Hetzer, daughter-in-law Nicole Hetzer and sister Jean Penoyer.
