Barron, Mary Jo of Flushing, age 75, died Sunday, December 14, 2014, at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at St. Robert Catholic Church. Fr. Roy Horning will officiate. A private burial will be later at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or any charity of your choice.
Mary Jo was born in Flint, MI on April 28, 1939, the daughter of Paul and Gertrude (Gumm) Barron. Mary Jo graduated from St. John Vianney Catholic School. She was active in the St. Michael's Choir and had a deep Catholic devotion. She loved Bingo and ceramics.
Mary Jo is survived by three siblings, Dick (Peggy) Barron of Virginia, Connie (Lynn) Ross of Colorado, Joan Stone (Frank Kiacz) of Flushing; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
