Our dear wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 8, 2019.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Friday, July 12, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Green officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Barbara was born July 18, 1954 in Pikeville, KY the daughter of Kermit and Jeanette (Coleman) Robinson .
She graduated from Davison High School, Class of 1972. Barbara was a past Girl Scout Leader and the Activities Director at Leisure Lake in Durand. She was very active volunteering at her daughter's school. She enjoyed camping, traveling with her family and being with her grandchildren. Barbara loved attending her grandchildren's school events and traveling the country watching her granddaughter compete in dance. Most of all she just loved being with her favorite little girl and favorite little boy as much as she could. Barbara enjoyed baking for her family, especially making cakes for special occasions and was well known for her Christmas sugar cookies. Barbara was a homemaker and spent her life caring for her family. Her two grandchildren were the light of her life.
Barbara married Terry L. Luick in Swartz Creek on February 12, 1977, together they had two daughters that she cherished.
She is survived by her husband; daughters Trista (Jason) Thompson and Melissa (Smith) Brandon; grandchildren Natalie Thompson and Zachary Brandon; father Kermit; sisters Debbie (Steve) Yeo, Rhonda (John) Vanover and Melinda (Brad) Pickler; many special nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother and brother Kirby Robinson.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Memorial Cancer Center.
