Robinson, Jana Beth (Chapman) - Age 81, passed away October 2, 2017 at Abbey Park Independent Living Facility in Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday, and 3-8 PM on Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Funeral services at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 5 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 7234 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc, MI. Pastor Nathan Allen officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Contributions may be made to Absolute Hospice of Grand Blanc. Jana was a lifelong resident of Grand Blanc, born September 6, 1936, at Women's Hospital in Flint, MI. She attended Grand Blanc elementary, junior high and high school graduating with the class of 1954. She attended Flint Junior College and worked in their Registrar's office. She also was employed by Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Grand Blanc. Jana married Dewaine V. Robinson on March 11, 1961 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Flint where she was a member for many years. She later worked with her husband at their pharmacy businesses for many years. Jana enjoyed mall walking with her fiends, doing crossword puzzles, going to U of M football games, watching college and pro basketball and world traveling with her husband. She is survived by her two sisters, Karen D. Michelson (Don Eckel) of Flint, Peggy E. (David) Vermeesch of Charlevoix, several nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-law Violet Lanning of Fenton, brother-in-law Bill Robinson (Linda) of Mesick MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Donnell and Ophelia Chapman of Grand Blanc; her half brother, Arthur Chapman of Bellaire; grandparents, Carl and Natalie Fritzler of Flint; several aunts and uncles; her in-laws; Vern and Pearl Robinson of Beecher/Mesick, MI. Jana had been ill for several years and was cared for by a very special group of devoted caregivers; Kim G., Tara B., Kim H., Barbara S., Deana B., Joel Z., and Lisa N., Ali B. and Dr. Matt Weiss.
