HART, Geraldine Mae (Youmans) – of Flint, MI, age 87, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018. Cremation has taken place. An informal Memorial Service will be held 5 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Buell Lake County Park, Pavilion #2, 14098 Genesee Road, Clio, MI 48420. The family will receive visitors 4-5 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Buell Lake County Park, Pavilion #2. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, in Geraldine’s memory.
Geraldine was born in Lansing, MI on May 7, 1931, daughter of the late Judson Youmans and Alta (Leach) Burgess. She enjoyed painting and making greeting cards.
Geraldine is survived by her companion of 37 years, Edward Dahl; 5 children, Nancy (Rick) Fitzallen, Patricia (Gary) Peters, Michael (Shelly) Hart, Lynne (Frank) Mabrey and Daniel Hart; 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Autumn) Peters, Carrie Peters, Greg Peters, Ryan (Danette) Mabrey, Jessica (Justin) Huber, Rick Robinson, Shauna Robinson and Matthew Robinson; 7 great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Ian, Georgia, Zachary, Brooke, EmmaLeigh and Gracin; sister, Jacqueline Gatewood; brother, Donald Burgess; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Stroebel and step-father, Donald Burgess.
