JOHNSON, Dorothy Mae -- Age 81, of Cadillac, formerly of Swartz Creek, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 7, at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, Our temporary location, 5363 Hill Rd., Mundy Township. Visitation will also be 10AM until time of service Thursday at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.
Dorothy was born July 13, 1936 in Mundy Township the daughter of John and Gatha (Storms) Tahash. She married William Grice Johnson June 19, 1954 in Grand Blanc. She was very active in her children and her grandchildren's lives, never missing a event. She was also a member of the Congregational Church of Cadillac.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 64 years, William; 5 children, Rev. Barbara (Ray) Benjamin of Byron, Annette (David) Beckwith of Swartz Creek, Tina (Clarence) Ramberg of Swartz Creek, Michael Johnson of Linden, Susan Worden of Linden; 11 grandchildren and several step- grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; sister Minada Carroll; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Tahash; son in law Ronald Worden; grandson, Jeff Johnson.
