JENKINS-BERNTHAL, Louann May - Of Flint, age 83, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Regional Medical Center in Port Richey, Florida.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, January 5, 2013
at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 South Ballenger, Flint,
Pastor Steven R. Maske officiating.
Burial in Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia, MI.
Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Mrs. Jenkins will be at the church 10am Saturday until the time of the service. Luncheon to follow after the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint or St. Paul Lutheran Church and School.
Louann was born in Flint on September 4, 1929, the daughter of Louis and Anna Greb.
Surviving are husband Robert Jenkins;
children, Mark (Janette) Bernthal, Carol (Alan) Sauer-Wehrli, Ellen (Doug) Mottet, Jim (Vicki) Bernthal and John Bernthal;
10 grandchildren;
sisters, Dorothy (Jack) Landskroner and Evelyn (Ron) Shoup.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, in 2002, Richard Bernthal, her parents and brother, Eldon.
