STALEY, Mary Ann - Age 74, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, September 23, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 PM Friday, September 27, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road , Fenton Thursday from 3 -9 PM where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM and Friday at church from 1:00 PM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Mary Ann was born April 30, 1945 in Flint, the daughter of Raymond and Molly (McLone) Dagenais. She was a 1964 graduate of St. Michael Catholic High School. She had resided in the Fenton and Grand Blanc area her entire life. She married Dennis A. Staley May 31, 2002 in Henderson, NV. She retired from Fifth Third Bank after 25 years of service. Mary Ann was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Holy Family Women's Guild. She also was a member of the Great Lakes Swing Dance Club. She enjoyed traveling and shopping.
Surviving are: her husband, Dennis; son, David (Carmyn) Sprague of Fenton; daughter, Angela (Don) DuBois of Gaines; grandchildren, Megan, Mitchell, Delaney, Emersyn, Kallyn, and Kolton; great granddaughter, Brooklyn; brother, Raymond (Diane) Dagenais; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the Aide's at Vicinia Gardens Assisted Living for the special care given to Mary Ann while she was there. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
