BOWSER, Hilda – of Flint, age 88, passed away October 23, 2011 at Gr. Blanc Rehab and Nursing Center. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Jim Pryor officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Hilda was born in St. Ives, Cornwall, England on May 24, 1923, daughter of the late Benjamin and Hilda Phillips. Hilda married Clair Bowser in Flint, MI, 1964.
Hilda is survived by her husband, Clair; children, William (Yvonne) Harris, Larry (Carol) Bowser, George (Joyce) Harris, Margaret Miller and Joyce “Tootie” (Doug) Wilson-Bowser; ten grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Cyril) and brother, Willie. She was preceded in death by daughter, Jeannie K. Butts and son-in-law, Marvin Miller.
