Georgianna "Georgie" Gulledge, aged 82, of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 28, 2024. Born on June 7, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, Georgie was a beacon of joy and kindness to all who knew her.
In a beautiful ceremony on March 22, 1970, she married the love of her life, Gerald Gulledge, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories until his passing. Together, they built a family foundation that would hold strong through the generations.
Georgie's zest for life was evident in her passions. She was an avid golfer, relishing every moment on the green under the open sky. Her love for road trips up north was more than a hobby—it was her way of embracing the beauty of the world around her. Above all, Georgie's greatest joy was found in the company of her family and friends, with whom she shared countless unforgettable moments.
Described by those who knew her best as loving, funny, and selfless, Georgie's legacy is one of warmth and generosity. Her laughter was infectious, her smile could light up a room, and her kindness knew no bounds. She was a true friend and a devoted family member, always putting others before herself.
Georgie is survived by her son, Jason (Brandi) Gulledge; her sister, Judy (Ray) Ayotte; and her adored grandchildren, Haylee (Chris) Dantzer, Niklas (Megan Fairchild) Gulledge, Brady, and Brody. She also leaves behind many friends, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly. Georgie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Eva, and her husband, Gerald.
As we bid farewell to Georgianna Gulledge, we celebrate the indelible mark she has left on our hearts. Her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us, as we cherish every memory and hold her close in our thoughts. Georgie's life was a beautiful journey that touched so many, and her story will be told with love for generations to come.
