GURSKI, Theodore Joseph Jr. - Of Holly, age 69, died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11:30am Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton.
Visitation 2-6pm Sunday and 10:30am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Theodore was born in Flint on October 2, 1949, the son of the late Theodore Sr. and Mary (Brzak) Gurski. On July 23, 1977, he married Linda Joyce Allen in his mom's backyard. He worked for General Motors as an Electrician and an Electrical Engineer for nearly 40 years. Theodore built his own home in Holly. He also built a gazebo and numerous sheds. He loved to fish on his pontoon boat with his buddies. Theodore attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton.
Surviving are wife, Linda; daughter, Joan;
grandson, Joey and great-grandson, John;
sisters, Mary Higdon and Linda (Dennis) Griggs;
many nieces and nephews;
childhood friends, Tom (Linda) Garland, Joe (Brenda) Duvall;
special caregiver, Mary; and neighbor, Ron Racette.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Barbara Gurski and Melanie Gurski Reno and his parents.
