Ballance, Beverly Yvonne- Age 86, of Grand Blanc, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Sugarbush Living in Flint, MI. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Monday, August 27, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Chaplain Barry Ruff officiating. A visitation will be Monday from 10 AM - 1 PM . Beverly was born on December 28, 1931 in Pontiac, Michigan to Norman and Bessie Walker. After briefly attending Western College, she began work at AC Spark Plug in Flint from 1950 until 1972. Beverly married William Ballance on June 12, 1954 and was a resident of Grand Blanc for 49 years. A member of Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, she held a strong faith and was involved in Bible Study Fellowship for over 20 years, both as a student and a class leader. Beverly is survived by children, Michael (Lori) of Flint, Tony of Westland, Kimberly Henry of Flint, Christopher of Grand Blanc; sister Nancy Vivian (Loren) Partridge of Clio; brother Norman Walker of CA; three grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters; many nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband William, daughter Wendy, grandson Dakota and sister Nena. The family wishes to thank Heart to Heart Hospice and Sugarbush Living.
