CARPENTER, James L. – Of Flint, MI, age 87, died Monday, July 29, 2019 at Masonic Pathways.
Visitation 4 p.m. and Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Bud Coad officiating.
Cremation has taken place, burial of cremains at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
James was born in Flint, Michigan on November 13, 1931, the son of the late Clair W. and Vera Louise(Dobbs) Carpenter.
He was a member of the Tawas Elks Club, a Mason with the Morningstar Lodge and a member of the Shriner’s Club.
He loved to golf and play darts.
Mr. Carpenter was employed 40 years at GM Metal Fab.
Surviving are his loving family.
