Visitation 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Donald was born in Flint, Michigan on September 15, 1965, the son of Donald and Sharon (Thorne) Smith.
He married Leanne F. Downs in Oakland County.
He enjoyed racing cars.
Donald was presently employed at Kalamazoo Metal Recyclers.
Surviving are four children, Barbara and husband Scott Hinote,
Breann Smith, all of Alabama, Donald Smith II of Flint and Jaimie Smith of Burton;
grandchildren, Lacey, Brooke, Isabella, Liam, Aubriana and Abigail;
father, Donald Smith of Burton;
brother, Jeff Smith of Burton and
sister, Mimi Smith-Church of Gaylord.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leanne and mother, Sharon.
