DAVIDSON, Betty Sue – Of Burton, age 87, died Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Argentine Care Center in Linden.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12pm Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Community of Christ Church, 2120 Wilmar Street, Burton, MI 48509.
Elder Betty Jo Parsell and Elder Debora Cavin officiating.
Please join us for a luncheon directly following the service.
Visitation 11:30am Saturday, September 21, 2024 at church until the time of the service.
Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Community of Christ Church or plant a tree or a plant in Sue’s name.
Sue was born in Traverse City, Michigan on August 22, 1936, the daughter of the late Leonard and Arliss (Dick) Heaviland. Sue graduated from Flint Central High School, Class of 1955. Sue and Richard Davidson were united in marriage on September 10, 1955 in Flint. She was a longtime active member of Community of Christ Church. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed watching Tiger baseball, the Hallmark Channel and genealogy.
Surviving are children, Rick and wife Patty Davidson, Debora Cavin and David and wife Kim Davidson;
Grandchildren, Tiffany Ross, Rachael (Joel) Tait, Paul (Cassie) Davidson, Ryan (Beth) Davidson, Steven (Amber) Davidson, Kevin (Kerrene) Davidson and Kristen Trevarrow;
16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild;
Cherished sister, Mary Sherman; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard and sister, Patricia Lyos.
