THOMPSON, Thomas A., age 75 passed away peacefully at home on January 28th, 2020 surrounded by his loving family and entered his heavenly home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ. Thomas was born August 28, 1944 in Sidney, Montana to parents Vernon and Helen Thompson. The first of four sons, he graduated from Sidney High School and Concordia College in Moorehead, Montana. He worked for 30 years as an elementary art teacher in the Carmen-Ainsworth School District. In retirement, he became a bronze sculptor artist. He married Aileen Braun in 1968. They celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on June 7th, 2019. He is survived by loving wife, Aileen, and their two children, son Blair of Bowling Green, Kentucky, daughter Meghann (Nick) Gaspar of Grand Blanc, Michigan, granddaughter Caroline, of Schaumburg, Illinois, brother Robert (Linda) of Billings, Montana, three nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Andrew and Eugene. Funeral services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Thursday, January 30th at 11am with visitation one hour prior.
