Favel, Valerie S. – of Lennon, age 55, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at Owosso Memorial Healthcare. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Friday, May 19, 2017, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Valerie was born May 21, 1961, in Flint, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Shirley (Morse) Hubbard. She had resided in Lennon the past 14 years, coming from Clio. Valerie graduated from Kearsley High School in 1979. She graduated on the Dean's List from Davenport University. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed sewing, cooking, and painting.
Surviving are: Son, Nathan Favel of Clio; Mother, Shirley Chlypsa; Brother, Grant Hubbard; Sisters: Debbie Morse, Tammy Daniels, and Tracy Rhodes; Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Gene Hubbard and Mike Morse.
