Age 67 of Owosso, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at McLaren - Flint.
Funeral Service will be held 11am Friday, July 26, 2019 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday July 25 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm with the Eastern Star at 7pm.
Lucille was born October 9, 1951; the daughter of Fredrick Sr. and Maxine Smith.
She graduated from Swartz Creek High School and continued her education at Michigan State University studying floral design.
Lucille was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars Linden Chapter 175, past Worthy Matron four times.
She married Thomas W. Mize in Rankin on April 21, 1973.
Lucille spent her years as the floral manager at Kessel and Kroger.
Lucille is survived by husband; her son Thomas (Kris) Mize II; grandson Logan; brothers Fred Smith Jr. and Mark Smith; sister Madge Fenner and many other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by parents and her brother Gerald Smith.
