GRIFFIN, Betty A - Age 89 of Flint Twp. died July 17, 2018. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Friday July 20, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel. Our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd. Mundy Township. Visitation will be 4PM- 9PM Thursday and 10 AM -11AM Friday. Burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint..
Betty was born September 25, 1928 in Carterville, Il the daughter of Andrew A. Chitty and Gertrude (Renfro) Griffin. She married Forrest J. Griffin in Flint on July 31,1948. Betty was employed as a Manager for D & C Store in Flint. She was a long time member of West Flint Church of the Nazarene. Betty enjoyed gardening and viewing the Autumn colors. She also enjoyed being with her church family.
Surviving are: children, Linda (Duane) Barkman, and David (Sedette) Griffin; six grandchildren, Ken (Mandy) Hemingway, Cindy (Brad) Neal, Joe (Heather) Barkman, Michelle (Austin) Cummins, Monika (Josh) Cross, Mike (Amanda) Griffin; ten great grandchildren, Griffin, Logan, Brody, Jillian, Daxson, Danika, Myla, Carter, Lawson, and Sienna; very special friends, Al and Margaret Waters; several nieces and nephews.
