Mr. Dell L. Willson of Millington, Michigan passed away early Monday morning June 10, 2024, at his residence with his family at his side, he was 88 years old.
Dell was the son of the late Burt & Martha (Budd) Willson, he was born on April 17, 1936, in Flint, Michigan. Dell worked as a Mil-Wright for General Motors (working at the Old Chevy plants) retiring in 1997. Dell was a long-time member of the Vassar FOE. #2380. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing cards with friends and family.
Dell leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Jeff Willson, Diane Green and friend Tim Sturk, Jerry & Jill Willson. His five grandchildren; Perry, Allen, Jeremy, Ethan, and Shaela, also leaving his 12 great-grandchildren. Besides his immediate family Dell leaves special friend Sharon Wheaton, many nieces, nephews and extended family.
The Willson family will be present on Thursday June 13, 2024, at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI where friends may call from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Dell’s grandson Perry Green will deliver a eulogy beginning at 4:00 pm on Thursday. Immediately following the services there will be a Vassar FOE # 2380 memorial service and dinner to be held at the Vassar Eagle Hall. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to Vassar FOE # 2380, or a charity of one’s choice.
