CROSS, Robert G. - Of Linden, age 62, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center.
A Memorial Service will be held 11am Saturday, August 2, 2014
at Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle, 1013 Hughes Avenue, Flint, MI 48503,
Bishop Keith McKinnies officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the church. There will be no visitation at Swartz Funeral Home.
Robert was born in Flint on June 13, 1952. In June of 1972, he married Marsha Stewart in Flint. She preceded him in death on September 6, 2012. Robert retired from General Motors.
Surviving are children, Amanda Cross of Linden and Robert Cross of Linden;
grandchildren, Amelia, Skyler and Chloe;
sisters, Patricia and husband Daniel Helmer of Flint and Nancy Cross of Tennessee;
brothers, Gerald and wife Sherri Cross of Flint and Richard and wife Keri Cross of Pickney;
and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal and parents, William and Elsie Cross.
