TITSWORTH, Caroline – of Flint, age 80, passed away April 1, 2012 at her residence. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 10:30 am Thursday, April 5, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 am – 2 pm and 4-8 pm Tuesday and Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Liturgy on Thursday at the church. A Rosary will be prayed 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Caroline was born in Flint, MI on September 5, 1931, daughter of the late John and Elisa (Velez) Avina. She married Wayne Titsworth on October 29, 1966 and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2007. Caroline was a member of St. John Catholic Church and UAW #651. She worked at GM before retiring on October 1, 1986.
Caroline is survived by her sons, Wayne Thomas (Diana) Titsworth, Richard Titsworth, James (Sharon) Titsworth; daughters, Janet (Larry) Beadle, Sue Kreger, Anna Titsworth, Mary (Scott) Wheeler, Lisa (Joe) Schaaf, Tresa (Don) Grove; daughter-in-law, Debbie; 30 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles and brother-in-law, Jimmy Beaudoin.
