DONNELLY, Barbara Ellen - age 57, of Flushing, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1 PM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek with Fr. Daniel Kogut celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Barbara was born January 7, 1954 in Flint, the daughter of John P. and Mary (McDonald) Donnelly. She had worked for Representative Dale Kildee's office for 35 years. Barbara was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and loved her nieces and their children: Surviving are: mother, Mary Donnelly of Flushing; sister, Martha Donnelly of Linden; brother, John M. Donnelly of Flushing; two nieces, Melissa (Russell) Anthony of Grand Rapids, Jennifer (Robert) Naismith of Linden; great nieces and nephews, Rebekah, Anastasia and Alec Anthony, Brody and Gavin Naismith. Her father, John P. Donnelly and sister, Mary Canterbury, preceded her in death. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Streff and all the staff at Genesys Health Park.
