MARSH, Donald Paul “Don” – of Grand Blanc, MI, age 92, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Per Don’s wishes, a Private Burial will be held at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
Don was born in Flint, MI on November 10, 1926, son of the late Warren and Elda (Gaukel) Marsh. He married Marjorie Carlson on May 6, 1950. Don loved working in his yard and enjoyed landscaping. He had a passion for horses. Don proudly served in the United States Army Calvary. He worked as a lineman for Consumers Power, and retired as a dispatcher in 1987 after 40 years of service.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Marjorie Marsh; children, Kathy Turner, David (Fraya) Marsh, Karen (Greg) Ernest, Bethany (Richard) Lovik, Bonnie (Steve) Hewer; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Marsh, Scott Ernest, Ryan (Carrie) Lovik, Courtnea (Jarod) Carlton, Chelsea (Russell) Peterson; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Tommy, Dalton, Alyssa, Tyler, Kaylee, Mason, Jaxson, Reid;. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Kenney Turner and granddaughter, Angela Marsh; brothers, Charles and Floyd Marsh.
