Passed away on Sunday morning, October 20, 2013 at home. Age 67 years. She was born on October 8, 1946 in Flint to the late Forest J. and Alice May (Denies) Culhane. She married Dale Ives on February 16, 1980, he survives her. Sherrilyn has held various jobs including owning and operating the Carousel shop in Owosso, working at Sam’s Mufflers and Brakes Shop and General Motors Truck and Bus. She especially enjoyed crafts of all kinds and painting. She also enjoyed her horses and riding.
Surviving is her Husband, Dale, four children; Dennis Sexton Jr. of Elsie, Kenneth Bailey of Flint, Dale (Leslie) Ives of West Branch and David (Patty) Ives of St Charles, 7 grandchildren, a sister, Patricia (Harold) Braham of Flint and a brother, Samuel Culhane of Flushing. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Delores O’Connor.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home, Chesaning. Diane Hungerford will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm. www.wmartinfuneralhome.com
