CRANMER, David A. – of Flint, age 52, passed away August 7, 2015 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service followed by Military Honors will be held 11 AM Monday, August 10, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 11 AM – 8 PM Sunday and 9 -11 AM Monday. A Memorial Service under the auspices of the Burton Eagles AERIE #3814 will be held at 7 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
David was born in Flint, MI on January 30, 1963, son of Edward and Lois (Root) Cranmer. He graduated from Mt. Morris High School. David proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. He married Monica Herriman on August 25, 2001. David was a member of the Burton Eagles #3814 and was a Mt. Morris City Firefighter. He worked at Woodland Correctional Facility.
David is survived by his mother, Lois; wife, Monica; daughters, Lindsay McKay Herriman and Shelby Kalyn Cranmer; sisters, Marcia (Mark) Eckstein and Rebecca McDonald; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward and sister, Kalyn Sheryl Cranmer.
