DENTON, Barbara Jean – of Flint, MI, age 90, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Dr. Carl Petty officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Central Baptist Church, in Barbara’s memory.
Barbara was born in Flint, MI on January 31, 1929, daughter of the late Claude and Eleanor (Bigbee) Denton. She was loved by all who knew her and she greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara’s bright smile and delightful sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Barbara is survived by her niece, Sandy (Ron) Stanley; 3 nephews, Dale (Jackie) Dinse, Rick (Cindy) Dinse and Terry (June) Dinse; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Eleanor Denton; sister, Dorothy (Robert) Dinse.
