RATHBURN, Doris Elaine – Of Grand Blanc, age 82, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Wynwood of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at
St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 9020 South Saginaw Road, Grand Blanc, The Reverend George L. Cleaves, Jr. officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries or St. Christopher's Episcopal Church Organ Fund.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Rathburn will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Doris was born on January 5, 1931.
She was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Rathburn was a Registered Nurse.
Surviving are adopted son, Robert C. (Cindy);
sons, Robert J, (Linda),
Daniel B. (Judy),
Calvin L. (Kelly) and
Matthew H. (Terri),
daughter, Heather L. Cundiff (Giovanni Finateri);
grandchildren, Michael, Alaina, Corwin, Wesley, Cathlin (Nathan), Jamie (Jack), Jordan, Lee and Alexander;
sister-in-law, Patricia Mae Locke;
many nieces and nephews;
special friends, Mary Ann Sywyk and Gwyndolyn Foutch.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert J., M.D. and parents.
