SMITH, Nancy Lee – of Burt, age 70, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Pastor Manley Brokaw officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-9PM. Contributions may be made to family.
Nancy was born October 3, 1942 in Saginaw to the late Charles and Beulah (Ludwick) Shebester. She married Donald Smith on July 8, 1961. He preceded her in death on January 14, 2006. She lived in Burt since 1964. Nancy worked for Saginaw General Hospital as a unit clerk for 28 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of Montrose Eagles, and Charity Tabernacle. She enjoyed crocheting.
Surviving are: 4 children, Diana (Joseph) Ervin of Burt, Donald Smith, Jr. of Saginaw, Nick (Lisa) Smith of Saginaw, Dawn (Mark) Priebe of Saginaw; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchild; brothers, Charles (Susan) Shebester of Merrill, Archie (Marlene) Shebester of Gladwin, Richard Shebester of FL, Thomas Shebester of KY; sisters, Delores Judge of Saginaw, Phyllis (Dar) Daymon of Alma; many nieces and nephews.
