DAUNT, Adam P. - Of Flint, age 27, died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor, MI.
Visiting hours are 12-9pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 11am at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 East Fifth Avenue, Flint. Adam will lie in state in church after 10am Tuesday. Reverend Monsignor Richard J. Groshek will preside and interment will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Adam was born in Flint on April 30, 1986. He graduated from Baker College with an Associate’s Degree in graphic design. Adam was a very special person, an old soul, a kind man. He especially enjoyed being with his family and friends, Adam always had a positive attitude and smile on his face. His special place was Mackinaw.
Surviving are his mother, Susan;
siblings, Melissa, Jeremy and Corinna, Nathan and Gina, Jonathon and Megan, and Kevin;
a very special niece, Lela, who will always miss her uncle “Adlum”;
aunts and uncles, Jack (Sue), Jim, Bob (Jeanne), Mike (Patti), Mary (Doug), Marti (Bob), Pat (Sue), Pete (Linda), Tom (Kathi), Dan (Martha), Paul (his godmother, Georgina), Helen (Mike), Steve (Lesley), Mark (Chris), Paul (Bev), special uncle and godfather, Mike (Suzie) Owens;
grandparents, Wallace and Marjorie Williams;
special cousin, Maggie Alexander, many cousins and friends;
best friends, Joe and Katie Prieur, and Mike Johnson;
and god-daughter, Abbie Prieur and his friends at Grand Blanc Kohl’s.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald “Jerry" Daunt on July 21, 2013.
Special thanks to the staff at University Hospital at Ann Arbor, especially Dr. Chris (Dr. Glasses) and the nurses and techs on 8A, especially, Scott.
