Pettegrew, James Stanley - Age 87, of Grand Blanc, died January 23, 2020. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. James was born March 17, 1932 in Ohio the son of Harold and Adelaide (Ably) Pettegrew. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in he Korean War. James married Frances Andrews in September 1953. He retired from A.C. Spark Plug with many years of service in skilled trades. He was a master tinkerer. He was an avid gunsmith and loved target shooting. He loved working on his cars. Surviving are: wife of 66 years Frances; three children, Patrick James (Mary) Pettegrew of Flushing, Elizabeth (Harry) Hart of Waterford, Catherine "Kitty" Offord of Grand Blanc; six grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Olivia, Natalie, Gabriel, and Kharma; two great-grandchildren; four nieces, Stacey, Carol, Liz and Gail.
