INGRAM, Truly M. – Of Flint, age 82, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Carl Petty officiating.
Burial in Davison Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Truly was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 30, 1933 to William and Minnie(Presley) McEver.
She married Terry Ingram in Indiana in February of 1980.
Truly was an accomplished seamstress and was a student advisor in Mott's Adult High School sewing class. She also enjoyed traveling and was an avid knowledgeable sports fan.
She was especially fond of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. Truly was loyal to Alabama's Crimson Tide and her hometown Tennessee Volunteers football team.
Truly worked for many years at the Ritz Steakhouse & Lounge in Burton, Michigan. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Burton for many years.
Truly is survived by her husband Terry;
three sons, Larry Hardin, Bill Vaughn and Ken Vaughn;
one daughter, Silvia;
sister, Kate Randolph;
six step-children, Cindy and David Ross of South Barrington, Illinois,
Terry and Dwight Peters of Wichita Falls, TX,
Jennifer Ingram and Bill Judkins of Brooklyn, NY,
Dan and Stacey Ingram of Muncie, IN,
Tom and Sharon Ingram of Flushing, MI,
Beth and Randy Long of Wichita Falls, TX;
sister-in-law, Frankie McEver;
many, many grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie and William McEver; brother, Edgar McEver; daughter, Diane Atkins; special aunts, Queenie and Naomi.
