RUSSIAN, PATRICIA ANN – Of Swartz Creek, age 88, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Woodhaven Senior Living Community.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Burial of cremated remains at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to Hurley Medical Center Burn Unit or Charlie Russian Memorial Scholarship (Bendle Public Schools).
Patricia was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 19, 1930, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Brown) Raeburn.
She attended Slippery Rock College, Pennsylvania.
On October 5, 1948 she married Charles Russian.
She was a lifelong member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.
She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was an active mom in her children’s activities, PTA mom and officer and athletic booster.
Surviving are 4 children, Charles and wife Reushan Russian of Sanford, Michigan, Susan Carter, James and wife LoAnne Russian, all of Swartz Creek, Ann and husband Barry Johnson of Canby, Oregon;
10 grandchildren, Donovan Russian, Dacia Albaugh, Jennifer Hufford, Sarah Rau, Andrea Brigitha, Zachariah Carter, Nicholas Russian, Lori Lorenz, Benjamin Johnson and Elizabeth Harris;
21 great-grandchildren, Jake, Adrienne, Kendall, Cashton, Kennan, Darren, Layla, Tyce, Kase, Ella, Lexi, Brendon, Brett, Embry, Marlo, Britton, Maesie, Clementine, Sam, Sean and Evan;
2 sisters, Jean Hershman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sandra and husband Ken McClymonds of Irvine, California;
sister-in-law, Barbara Raeburn of New Castle, Pennsylvania;
several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Rhonda, from Homestead Health Care and Woodhaven Senior Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1990 and brother, James Raeburn.
