Teresa L. Gorsuch, age 53, of Columbiaville passed away on July 14, 2017 at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion, Illinois after a courageous 3 year battle of Breast Cancer
Teresa was born September 12, 1963 in Flint, Michigan. The daughter of Ralph and Charlotte Secord. She later married William W. Gorsuch. She worked for NEMSCA Headstart in Lapeer for the last 20 years. Teresa was a member of the Columbiaville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, laying out on the beach, singing, lighthouses, gardening, here dogs Sasha & Cleo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Teresa is survived by her husband William, parents: Ralph & Charlotte Secord, children: Chris (Janessa) Olson, Jake (Danielle) Olson, Danielle Gorsuch, Jeremy Michael, siblings: Shyrll (Jim) Olson, Les (Sheree) Secord, Mark (Jill) Secord, and grandchildren: Sawyer, Natalie, Darrin, Dustin, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 11:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Columbiaville United Methodist Church. Friends may visit Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville on Wednesday 6-9 PM, Thursday 3-9 PM, and Friday 10 AM till time of service. Pastor Gloria Haynes and Esther Irish officiating. Interment Meadow Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Teresa may be made to the family.
