KAGEN, David W. – Of Flint, age 60, died Sunday, April 1, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Haden
officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Whaley Children’s Center.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Friday and 12 noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
David was born in Flint, Michigan on December 27, 1957, the son of Manuel and Maggie (Stephens) Kagen.
On December 30, 1993 he married Gena Taylor in Flint.
He loved to hunt, fish and help others.
Mr. Kagen retired from GM after 22 years of service.
Surviving are wife, Gena;
daughter, Lindsey (Ahmed);
brothers, Ken (Marilyn) Kagen, Danny (Sheila)Kagen, Vic (Ann) Kagen and Brian (Barb) Kagen;
sister, Charlotte (Bert) Stehle;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane Fiebke, Gary Fiebke, sister-in-law, Sue Kagen and niece, Amy Kagen.
