GERMAIN, William D. – Of Flint, age 90, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Crestmont HealthCare Center.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Don Albright
officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church Missionary Fund or the Marine Corps League Flint Detachment #155.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on February 29, 1924 and was a resident of the Flint area all of his life.
On October 5, 1946 he married Dorothea Scott in Flint.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
Mr. Germain was employed by Perry Printing for 41 years, retiring in 1987.
Surviving are wife, Dorothea;
two sons, Daniel and wife Penny of Tombstone, Arizona,
David and wife Linda of Ludington;
two grandchildren, Ryan and Renae Germain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Ruth Germain.
