FALER, Mary Ann – of Clio, age 86, died Thursday, April 4, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 5PM, Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Harold Alexander officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 5PM.
Mary Ann was born October 3, 1932 in Flint, Michigan to the late Charles and Anna (Steahlik) Velat. She graduated from Flint Central High School. Marry Ann married Philip Faler. He preceded her in death. She worked as a secretary and accounts payable for the Clio School District Administration office for over 30 years. Mary Ann attended Westwood Heights Methodist Church. She enjoyed the tranquility of her yard and watching wildlife. Mary Ann was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and traveled to Florida each year to watch spring training. She also enjoyed shopping, taking walks, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Son, Ronald (Marilynn Newell) Johns; Grandchildren: Joy (Raymond) Thomas, Jill (Nick) Alexander, Jacob Johns, Janet Johns, Jeremiah (Marcy) Johns, Jennifer Johns, and Christopher Johns; Several great grandchildren; Sister, Lillian Kuchar, and many nieces, nephews and dear family members.
