DODGE, William D. – Of Grand Blanc, age 80, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, April 4, 2013 at
Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, 48507.
Pastor Glen Gardner officiating.
Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507.
Mr. Dodge will be at the church 10am Thursday until the time of the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Old News Boys.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on September 27, 1932, the son of William and Leona Dodge. He was a lifelong resident of the Flint area. Bill was a member of the Central Nazarene Church and the Flint Elks, #222. After a career as a plumber, he became a Skilled Trades Supervisor for General Motors, before retiring in 1998.
Surviving are wife, Sandra;
four children, Karen, Bob, Marshall and Cydney;
four grandchildren, Crysta, Taylor, Tyler and Mya;
two great-grandchildren, Brayden and Brody
two brothers, Ron and Mike.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia.
