PURCELL, Cynthia “Cyndi” - Of Flint, age 60, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
A Memorial Service will be held 7pm Friday, September 6, 2013
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 2-8pm Friday with the Memorial Service at 7pm Friday at the funeral home.
Cynthia was born in Alpena, MI on January 28, 1953, the daughter of Charles and Connie Purcell and was a resident of Flint. Cyndi graduated from Michigan State University with a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught elementary school for 25 years with the Swartz Creek Schools. Cyndi was also a member of First Presbyterian Church in Flint.
Surviving are daughters, Elizabeth (Ronald) Williams and Sarah (Dan Hartley) Wenstrom;
mother, Connie Purcell;
brother, Craig (Janice) Purcell;
niece, Lauren and nephews, Christopher and Jonathan.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Purcell.
